The saddest and most crazy [owner surrender I've encountered] was a young women giving up two cats because her boyfriend didn’t like them. They were older and we told her point blank there was no room, hoping she’d change her mind. Boyfriend standing right there. I often wonder what she thought after relationship ended. I let my two cats Die because of that schmuck!! the cats were so depressed and it was kitten season, they went right to euthanasia room. – Anonymous, New Jersey
